Following their announcement in July 2018 that they had undertaken a partnership with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to raise a minimum of £50,000 over a twelve month period, Red Bus Cartridges have been presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for Corporate Fundraiser of the Year at last Friday’s BHF Supporter Conference 2019.
Donna Wingfield, Operations Manager for Red Bus Cartridges said, “We were completely shocked, but delighted to receive this award during the first year of our partnership. We would like to thank our customers who continue to purchase our Red Bus brand of inkjet & toner cartridges for which we donate £1 for every product sold. We are also grateful for the increased support of our employees, who have embraced additional fundraising activities including a half marathon, cake bakes and quizzes as well as donating over 120 bags of clothing to our local BHF shop. We are enjoying working with the British Heart Foundation and thank them for recognising the support that Red Bus Cartridges have provided since the inception of the partnership. The conference was a fantastic, well-supported event which brought together corporate supporters, regional fundraisers and incorporated a talk by the incredibly talented BHF Researcher, Dr. Hiten Mistry; a great day was had by all.”
The British Heart Foundation is the nation’s heart charity whose pioneering research has helped to transform the lives of thousands of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.
Red Bus Cartridges’ sister company is also working with the charity and its supporters, having raised to date, over £160,000 by recycling inkjet and toner cartridges.
