Founded in 1908 by a pair of brothers, Brother Industries started life making sewing machines. It was in 1971 with the development of the world’s first high speed dot-matrix printer that Brother moved into the world of office technology. Sixteen years later, they made their first laser printer, the product they are now synonymous with, thanks to the print quality and affordability of Brother toner cartridges. Brother have remained at the forefront of innovative printer technology, being the first company to sell laser multi-function printers- integrating scan, fax and phone functions alongside basic printing.
Brother’s toner cartridges are renowned among both home and office users for their excellent print quality and their relative affordability. Their cartridges are relatively small thanks to the external drum unit within the printer, into which they slot during installation. At Red Bus Cartridges, we remanufacture both the Brother toner cartridges and drum units, giving customers a single location to recycle end of life Brother printer products.
Our recycling process consists of taking a used cartridge and replacing or repairing any broken or worn components. We then refill the cartridge using our specially formulated toner powder and run a few print pages to test that the quality at least matches that of the original Brother. We then carefully pack them into our unique Red Bus Cartridges box, giving our next customer the choice between the original and recycled Brother toner cartridges.
