Team Red Bus Cartridges support the British Heart Foundation’s Bag it, Beat it!
Red Bus Cartridges announced their partnership with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) in July and have pledged to raise a minimum of £50,000 over the course of twelve months. The British Heart Foundation is the nation’s heart charity whose pioneering research has helped to transform the lives of thousands of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.
As part of their pledge to raise a minimum of £50,000, all 220 employees have supported and taken part in the ‘Bag it, Beat it’ campaign, filling bags and bags of unwanted items such as clothes, books etc. Today, they met with the Manager of the local British Heart Foundation store to hand over the multiple bags kindly donated. The annual campaign provides vital stock which goes on to be sold in BHF shops to help fund lifesaving research and support.
Donna Wingfield, Operations Manager, said, ‘We’re delighted to have formed a partnership with the British Heart Foundation through our e-commerce site, Red Bus Cartridges. All employees were keen to support BHF and take part in this campaign eagerly awaiting the results of our efforts. The company is looking forward to developing our partnership with the BHF and are already planning our next fundraising challenge to help achieve our £50,000 target.’
Red Bus Cartridges sister company is also working with the charity and its supporters, having raised to date, over £160,000 by recycling inkjet and toner cartridges.
